​LEARN WITH ME
Ready to work together? I offer individual lessons for you and your horse in horsemanship, groundwork, liberty, and driving. All ages and levels are welcome; lessons are entirely customized to meet your needs and goals. I meet you where you're at and choose exercises to build understanding, strength, and confidence of both horse and human. I guide you to understand not only what to do, but also WHY. I leave you with homework that goes a step or two beyond what we did in class, so that you can continue to move forward between lessons, and I am always accessible to answer questions.

​Lessons are approximately 45 minutes long and can take place at your location or virtually via Zoom/Skype. Monthly packages are offered for those who would like to commit to a consistent weekly time.

AT YOUR FARM
As a freelance coach, I will travel to teach you at your own location. No fancy facilities are needed: in most cases, a level area with good footing will do. Liberty work requires a securely fenced area, which can be an arena, paddock, or pasture. Driving lessons can take place in an arena, field, or on the road.
My regular travel radius extends north to Crossfield, east to Strathmore, south to High River, and west to Bragg Creek. Within this radius, I charge a travel fee of $60 per farm. Locations further away can be arranged given a minimum of three lessons. A travel fee of $0.60/km will apply, and can be shared between students. I strongly encourage organizing a lesson day at your barn or neighbourhood arena.

INDOORS AT FREEDOM RANCH
Haul in to the indoor arena at Freedom Ranch, near Airdrie, for private and semi-private lessons in a cozy, comfortable space, no matter the weather. The modest $15 haul-in fee offers exclusive use of the arena during your lesson time, with no other horses to worry about. Whether you're focusing on groundwork, driving, liberty training, or refining your horsemanship in any way, you'll have the space and attention needed to refine your skills and strengthen your connection with your horse.
Indoor lessons are available on Wednesday afternoons, with limited availability on Thursday evenings. Monthly packages, offering a consistent weekly time, are encouraged.
AT MY FARM (OUTDOORS)
I have a school horse available at my location near Airdrie for lessons in liberty work, groundwork, and driving. Limited availability, subject to seasonal conditions.
FROM ANYWHERE VIA ZOOM/SKYPE
No matter where you are in the world, we can work together virtually! All you need is an internet connection, a computer/tablet/mobile phone with a camera and the Zoom or Skype platform installed, and a wireless headset with enough range for your schooling area. Alternatively, you can video your schooling on your own time and send me up to 15 minutes' worth of video prior to the lesson. We will then meet on Zoom/Skype to watch and discuss your video together, and give you homework to practice.

My lesson rates are the same whether at your location, mine, or virtual. Travel fees are additional. For those who commit to regular weekly or twice-weekly lessons, I offer a modest discount on my lesson fees when you pay for the full month up front. Please read the fine print for details. ** Extra-long lesson times are available on a limited basis to those who need assistance preparing for their class, notably beginner driving students who need help harnessing and unharnessing.

LESSON DAYS
If you have a group of students at one location, we can organize a half or full day of back-to-back lessons. This allows you to save on my travel fees, and is an excellent option for locations outside of my regular travel radius. Please contact me directly for possibilities and rates for your location.
